the owner of the beautiful red knuck even let pete take it around the block! lucky bastard!
also, rob came over this afternoon and i actually got out to the garage for a couple hours today! granted i didn't do shit but squirm around in my chair trying to get comfortable with this exoskeleton brace on my leg, while rob wrenched and we chatted. the shovel got the replacement rocker shafts that were supposed to be installed two weeks ago, and now i just need to get 3 more cylinder base stud nuts (left with 8 studs and 8 stud nuts, came back with 7 studs and 5 stud nuts...WTF!?) to properly torque everything down before lifting it into the frame and shimmming it just right into the motor cradle. i'll get some good pics of it in the frame, with the intake and carb mounted, and maybe even the exhaust mocked up...stay tuned bastards!
