air cooled diesel power

the aesthetics could use some work, but this thing looks like a decent demonstration of the diesel chopper concept. i'd like to see some video of one of these things running to see what the powerband is like and what the sound is like. if for no other reasons than having the ability to run u.s. produced biodiesel fuel (don't get me started on the politics of that), get cheap parts at farm/truck supply stores, run a cheap turbo and have great torque numbers...i really like this idea. with some good forethought and frame massaging, i think you could really showcase a small v-twin air-cooled turbo diesel and make a real sexy little chopper. if only u.s. diesel engine makers would make something to compete with the asian made small diesel engines. how cool would it be to run a cat or john deere powered chopper?

this idea is going to simmer in the back of my brain for awhile, but it could make a really interesting next project next year. who wants to brainstorm this thing with me? the latest issue of the horse backstreet choppers has an even better example, but i didn't want to steal their pics.
