i really need to make myself one of these!

ok, so fab kevin makes some pretty cool stuff, and his quality and forethought of design is as good or better than anyone else out there. i gotta say, though, that when i saw a pic of this on his website...that's when i was seriously impressed with the dude! i've daydreamed of this concept before, but kevin has already pretty much perfected the idea (not for sale, of course). THE ULTIMATE ENGINE STAND! it's stable AND completely mobile. it's the perfect working height when you're seated on a mechanic's rolling stool. it's got all the provisions for actually testing and tuning right there! a mini gas tank for the carb to drink from, an oil tank and plumbing to keep the moving parts happy, a full size battery and electrical connections, room to attach the exhaust system, room to do the timing, room to adjust the pushrods, and best of all a makeshift starter/primary to bump start the engine between adjustments! i REALLY want to make one of these!! (jason i'm surprised you don't have two already with some design improvements of your own, haha)

some tiny things got done on my shovel, less than an hour to get everything torqued down and ready to mount in the frame. here's a side shot of my carb for no good reason, too.

anybody got one of the carb support brackets that come stock with the s&s air cleaners? the bottom mount vertical style won't work because of the old-stf oil line routing. anybody got other slick ideas?
