I love this game. I love everything about it. My favorite times was when I'd enter tournaments and be the only young guy. I'd get looked down at like I was some dumb punk and I'd end up running the racks. I guess respect really feels best when its earned.
That's awesome! I never knew that about you rene. Do you still compete? Talk about a zen practice, man... Being really really good with a billiards table is right up there with any traditional Japanese practice as far as I'm concerned.

ReplyDeleteHahaha no I haven't competed in over a year. The business pretty much takes up most of my time. I sure miss it though. I used to play at least 8 hours a day 7 days a week. It was basically my job. Made money at it. But the crowds got creepy in the bars sometimes. Haha.

ReplyDeleteHahaha! There weren't any creepy women at the bar I played at... Mostly uptight snobs and cracked out homeless guys looking to bet a beer in a game. For some reason I always played harder against those people. Haha. No! My beer!
